Sweet Home Bites is a recipe and short-form cooking video site, operated by Yellow8 Studios LLC, a Texas limited liability company. By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, the simplest thing to do is not use the site — nothing here requires an account or a payment, so there's nothing to cancel.
What this site is
Recipes, embedded cooking videos, and a newsletter signup. That's the whole site. There are no user accounts, no purchases, and no comments here — if you want to comment on a video, that happens over on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok, not on sweethomebites.com.
Our recipes and videos are ours
The recipes, photos, videos, and the Sweet Home Bites name and logo belong to Yellow8 Studios LLC (or are used by us under license). You're welcome to:
- Cook any recipe on this site for yourself, your family, or your friends.
- Share a link to a recipe page with anyone you like.
- Quote a short excerpt with credit and a link back to us.
What we ask you not to do: scrape, copy, or republish our recipes, photos, or video as your own, on your own site or social account, or feed our content into a tool that generates competing content from it. If you'd like to reprint something at real length, just email us — we're a small operation and easy to reach.
Recipes are provided as-is
We test every recipe we publish, but cooking has real variables — your oven, your ingredients, your altitude, your equipment — that we can't control. We don't guarantee a specific result, and we're not liable for a dish that didn't turn out the way you hoped.
Allergies and dietary needs are your responsibility. Always check the ingredients yourself, especially for common allergens (nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten, and the like) and any dietary restriction that matters to you. We do our best to describe ingredients accurately, but we're not a substitute for reading a label or checking with a doctor if you're not sure something is safe for you to eat.
A note on our videos
Some of our videos are AI-assisted. Every recipe is real and tested — the ingredients, quantities, and method are the ones we actually use, whatever tools helped produce the video around them.
Other platforms have their own rules
This site links to and embeds videos from YouTube, and links to our pages on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. When you follow one of those links or interact with an embedded video, you're on that platform, governed by their terms and privacy policy — not ours. We're not responsible for what happens over there.
Limitation of liability
This site is free to use and we're a small business. To the fullest extent the law allows, Yellow8 Studios LLC isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on anything in it — recipe outcomes included. Nothing here limits any right you have that can't be waived under the law that applies to you.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, since Yellow8 Studios LLC is a Texas LLC.
